Cheryl Terrio was inducted into the Florence (SC) Athletic Hall of Fame recently. Cheryl was a pioneer of women pole vaulting in South Carolina. She was the first high school state record holder, the current USC record holder at 13’ 6.25” and was an NCAA Indoor All-American. |

Mitch Greeley qualified and competed in the 2008 US Olympic Trials with a personal best vault of 18’ 3”. Mitch has now been on three world teams, “Team USA” as well being the current SCHSL State Meet Record holder at 16’ 9”. He now lives and trains as an elite pole vaulter in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bell Athletics. |
