BEGINNING OCTOBER 2008 THE CLINIC FORMAT WILL BE CHANGING... As much as I love what I
do, we have to treat it more like the business that it is. Which means that we need to replace broken
poles and purchase new ones to fill in our gaps. We also need to be able to afford the drive
to multiple cites. By bringing the
clinics to cites statewide it will save many families $100 to $150 per month
in fuel costs. Athletes will sign up
for specific locations/days/times and pay by the month. The Entry Form, Monthly Schedule and
Directions are located at the bottom of this page. Directions to Greenville High School and
Charleston Southern University will be added soon. LIMITED TIME: First-timers to our regular scheduled clinics do not have
to pay unless they like the clinics and want to keep coming. That’s right… “Try us out first, then decide.” ** New monthly pricing
(Oct/2008): One city, one day/wk x 4 wks = $140. ** (If you start middle of month, prorate at $35 per remaining clinics.) ** Unlimited clinics, 16 scheduled per month, add $100. $240 total. ** ** Also Beginner to
Advanced “Private Clinics” ** $100
per person/per clinic for individual, or $75 per person/per clinic for
multiple. WEATHER RELATED OR
MISSED CLINIC CREDITS. Regular clinic value is figured at $35 per clinic attended. We use monthly pricing to encourage
athletes to attend regularly to get more out of the clinics, and it has
helped tremendously. There will be no
credits for missed clinics unless it is weather related and canceled by
us. Credit will then be given at $35
per occurrence, unless rescheduled. If
you pay for unlimited clinics during month, no credit given since there are
16 clinics to choose from. These pole vault
developmental clinics are held weekly to take vaulters through the skills
progressions necessary to vault high. Clinics are open to all vaulters ages
12 and older. They are open to all ability levels including those who have
never vaulted before. Sessions typically include: · Vaulting from shorter
runs and on smaller poles. If you can not vault correctly from short run, you
will only exaggerate your problems from longer runs. Vaulters earn the right
to go back to longer runs. We also teach vaulters to run properly with
speed and power on the runway. In
short, we teach athletes to maximize their pole vaulting potential. |
